Meetings are currently in CB3 room 1.304 on Tuesdays, at 8:30 PM. LANs are still at ATEC game labs, Thursdays, 8:30 PM. A few changes to our meeting schedules. Informal LAN's are still in the Gaming Lab at ATEC, but the time is now 8:30 PM to late on Thursdays. Our main weekly meetings are 8:30 PM on Tuesdays, but the location is in flux till we get a set room reserved. We may be at ECSN 2.704, or in the event of another reservation conflict, we will relocate. If you get lost finding us, or have general questions, as always feel free to contact us.

SGDA is now meeting on Tuesdays, at 8:30 PM. Currently we are meeting in the ATEC building, but we intend to move to GR 4.301 as soon as we have it reserved. Weekly LAN hangout will continue to be on Thurdays at around 10:00 PM in the ATEC game lab. If you have questions, please contact either jpj054000@utdallas.edu or sgda@googlegroups.com. |

Hello everyone! Our Thursday meetings are still continuing at 8:30pm in the ATEC game labs. In the following meetings we will be discussing the upcoming Game Engineering Conference in April, and some new game development tutorials. Thanks to everyone who came to the Halloween Party! SGDA will be having a C++ tutorial session this Saturday. Topics will include C++0x, Template programming, Introduction to C++, and possibly a Java game development tutorial. Hello everyone, Our meetings will be held every Thursday in the ATEC Game Labs at 8:30, unless a speaker or event requires us access to different facilities. Under the Calendar tab, you can browse local events including our upcoming meetings and their time and location. Monica Evans will be at our next meeting to discuss the Computer Gaming Entrepreneurship Competition. Afterwards, Brent will be giving an introductory lecture to the Unreal Engine. It will be held at our usual time and place. We hope to see you there! |
